5 star resort
« on: June 30, 2015, 10:47:51 »

From a recent outing. This location is called Princess Pier, once the entry port into Melbourne. The dock had fallen into a sad state but was only recentoy opened after a bit of restoration work, and is now just a tourist attraction.
The other dock into the distance is Station Pier, which is where a ferry to Tasmania is docked .... and occasionally various other cruise type ships also berth at.

I do love when title and image reinforce each other on an indirect, subtle level.... Well done.

The overall impact might be increased by a mild reframing/crop so the sky is slightly less dominant.

Looks like a very wide angle focal length!

Get closer to the 5 star next time, then it will appear much larger in the image ;)
