Taken a few years ago during a protest in what had been the Garment and Furrier's District here in downtown Toronto.
While most of the Furriers in Toronto had ceased to exist, there were still a few producing real fur garments, and as part of a protest against them a small group showed up with placards and stripped down to their underwear for effect. None of the three had the strength of their convictions to actually strip naked. The photographer in the bottom left corner was the unlucky young soul from one of the major newspapers who was assigned to cover this bit of theatre on a weekend.
As I was in the area that day, I stuck around long enough top grab this shot, and schmooze with the photographer for a bit and then left for more fertile ground.
