[Theme] impressionistic images
« on: January 17, 2017, 11:40:57 »
Inspired by Jakov's thread "minimalistic images", i'd like to start one for impressionistic images, following wikipedia's description of impressionism: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impressionism [Mods, i couldn't find a similar theme thread. If there is one, please remove this one]

I'll start this off by adding one of my images. It's some cloud pattern over the coast of France. Could have been in Akira's "clouds" thread, but then i decided to harass the image a bit by bringing it into Aurora HDR and pulling the HDR sliders to the max.

Hope you like and please share your impressionistic images.

Found another one from Norway. It's less minimalistic, yet impressionistic. Not in the least because of the low Mp body that was used (D2h).

[EDIT]: hmmm ... it comes out a bit less impressionistic than i pre-viewed on my screen. Alas, let's not take the rules too seriously  ::)

Could very well be, but D2h ≠ gps. So, since i've only been there once, i couldn't be sure. Lovely area though.
