I simply love this.  You can feel the chill in the air.  You can witness his seemingly unbearable weariness, the constant drain that comes with everyday life.  This is great stuff.

I really like this image - timeless and evocative. Nice low contrast B&W treatment - this scene could only have been presented in B&W.  The well dressed passerby provides quite a contrast to the shabbiness of the village. School teacher perhaps?

This geometrically challenged shot immediately draws me into the pictured situation which is a sign for quality. The geometrical issue can be resolved by rotation of ~1.2 deg to the left I guess

really lovely image. I would upright it also - but then I have a thing about straightness.

The tilt immediately bothered me as well. If one rotated the shot to the left to get the columns plumb on the two story structure in the background, then the posts and the barrel on the left would no longer be plumb and be skewed to the left. This is a surprisingly difficult image to plumb, (at least on my monitor).

My ego feels undeservedly bloated with these kind comments.

My ego and I thank you.

Now, to come down to earth  :)

Take care you all.
