This is pretty cool. The link below will take you to a Ft. Meyers, Florida real estate company that is hosting a webcam right over the nest of two bald eagles. The female laid two eggs and one just hatched. Very interesting to watch them care for the egg and chick.

It is fascinating to watch the eagles and their chicks in their nest.  Thanks for sharing, Arthur!

Apparently they are eating mice for now.  :)

Apparently they are eating mice for now.  :)

Where I am, I recently learned that the county landfill (dump) is a great place to go and get shots of bald eagles. Apparently they aren't above sifting through the trash to get their dinners.

Arthur - at a dump you will get a huge amount of mice, rats, and birds - which is plenty food for an Eagle.

I understand that. My sources tell me they will go after lots of stuff found in the trash as well. As soon as my 70-200 gets back from the repair shop, I'm going to go take a look myself.
