cruising a tree lined road by the river shot out of the truck.. i have cruised this road hundreds of times with no luck.. but occasionally you can catch some eagles in the trees unfortunately they are often covered with sticks and other obstructions... yesterday there were two sharing a red merganzer in the clear..

if you notice the first and last are the same eagle, older (whiter) than the one in the middle set.   i caught them both in a tree later together but completely obstructed with branches so no shots..
