Robot band and their human slave
« on: December 19, 2016, 05:04:01 »
Captured! By Robots is a one man, two robot band.  The human made the two robots himself and they play very well!  All with Nikkor 105mm f/1.8 Ai-s at f/8.

Just too crazy!!!! But then again, why not?

I love the blue starry robot eyes.

Excellent photos.

Next step up the evolutionary ladder, I surmise.

Excellent documentation.

Sheer "metal" guys!  :D  The atmosphere is very well captured.  Thanks for sharing!

Tristin this is very cool. I want to point out also the play you made with the cymbals and the robots body.

Really curious about how "they" sound

Thanks for the compliments.

I would characterize CBR as a grindcore band of sorts with long songs and a light spirit.  Definitely entertainment centered as opposed to the serious-minded intense exposition of human failure that typically embodies grind.

Wow, they are serious!

Apparently the robot bands started to eat human musical scene away.

Here's a battle of the Japanese and the German robot bands.  They are admirably nerdy!

By the way, the now-well-known star effect of Ais 105/1.8 shines on the blue eyes of the robots.

Akira, thanks for the link.  DIY robot bands are fascinating to me!

Yeah, the 105/1.8's stars is why I shot these at f/8 instead of my typical f/1.8-4 for concert shots.  I knew it would look rad on the robot eyes!
