replacing focusing screen D750/D810

When I tried the Nikon FE I bought recently, I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of manual focusing. So I started to think about the possibility of replacing the focusing screens in my D750 and D810. I do have difficulty in using MF lenses on these cameras because I have to rely almost exclusively on the white dot.
I came across Richard Haw's blog post (http://nikongear.net/revival/index.php/topic,4304.msg67173.html#msg67173) about changing the screen of the Df.

My questions are:
1. Is it do-able to change the screens of the D750/D810? If so, is it better to let it be done by an expert? If so, does anyone know someone/company in/near the Netherlands to get done? If it is easily doable myself, are there any instructions? Or would replacing D750 screen be the same as replacing Df screen?
2. Where to order screens with split prism? I'd like to leave the FE as is because I intent to use it.

Changing a screen isn't difficult, but it needs patience, cleanliness and precision.

I use a focus screen from the mentioned site.  It is easy to do if you are dilligent.

Replacing the stock screen is quite do-able. Just be aware that a central (split) prism will likely affect spot metering.

Does it affect spot metering because the perceived image moves (splits) and that may shift brightness into or out of the spot meter?

Or is it a consistent shift that can be compensated for using the fine tune exposure adjustment?

I've used a split screen on a D90 for years and had no problem, except with the 70-180 macro where the spot metering was completely off, erratically between 1 and 3 stops. It's on the unpredictable side ...
