The dark swirls are oof blur circles from the second image (defocused and blended in).

Mongo agrees - fantastic composition, perspective and effect to give this sign its own life and character.  Nice to see you used one of Mongo's most favoured lenses.

Wonder if the bank has any other real presents for its customers for Christmas ?
