« on: November 23, 2016, 08:41:08 »
Not sure if these are Bar-Tailed Godwits or Black-Tailed Godwits ..........but what's in a name anyway.

All with D800E, AFS II 600mm f4 @ mostly f6.3, ISO 320 to 400, 1/1600th, tripod

Wonderful, as always. You lead me into the world of the pictured birds as if I was their companion. That is a very special talent of yours.
You are out there. You and your camera. You can shoot or not shoot as you please. Discover the world, Your world. Show it to us. Or we might never see it.

Fresh, crisp and beautiful Mongo.

Reminds me of our old banknote of 100 Guilders with the Godwit as main character  and national symbol  ;)

Fabulous.  Tonally and colour-wise absolutely perfect. And not a hint of sentimentality.

Mongo, my arm is outstretched, with a big thumbs up on its end. Great presentation of a Godwit on the shoreline.
