A big thumbs up for Ric!

Ric recently overhauled my badly gummed up 55 micro and the 28mm, the subject of this thread. They arrived back here last week in terrific condition. The focus action is so smooth you'll want to turn them all day  :o :o

Thanks again, I'll be in touch again in the new year with some more work (assuming you want it) :)

Glad you liked it and thank you, by the way :o :o :o that was very generous of you.

send me something when it's warmer because it's starting to get cold in my workshop ::) send the worst cases first.

I am going to overhaul Buddy's 55mm next (in the centre) ::)
and then I am going to fix the meter of my Nikomat that always seems to go bad (i just replaced the needle) so I may replace the whole CDS module

Great work, as always, Rick!

I don't see any "caked oil" in the pictures.  Did you actually shoot the images while you are re-assembling the lens after the cleaning?

it's actually just starting to go bad. maybe a few years more and it would end up dry or stuck ::)
