An unexpected snowfall and hard freeze made this morning a bit special.

Looks like a beautiful, crisp day, though!

It was fabulous but very cold and as an extra bonus, down at the loch there had been a localised ice-storm and al the trees for about 200m were encased in ice - quite an unusual phenomenon here in Scotland; frost, rime, snow - yes, but clear water-ice , hardly ever. I'm just in from my walk with Sally (still ok) and I'll be posting a few later.
