Walking the Summicron (2)

Very delicate and the rendering is very close to the 50mm f/2 Summicron for Leica M in all aspects, even down to the subtle flare,,,

Yeah, I caught a ghost (on the last but one). Although that Summicron is a relatively recent one, the coatings show their age. The rendering is good indeed, and the full aperture not as sharp maybe as with the "M" version, but one of the best (close to Zeiss 50/2, probably less sharp in the center and with slight blueish veiling, but more homogenenous)

I thought so.  I initially saw one of these images on Facebook, and its crude image compression algorithm made the image look even more like Monet.    The somewhat washed out color is very effective in this particular case.

8382 and 8383 were shot at the same time, but at a slightly different angle (sunlight more in my back with 8383). And above all, 8383 has seen some reduction of clarity in PP. This does not affect the colors, but make the hues more apparent.

I agree 8383 it is Could be PP with the 'brush stroke' filter - would be amazing I think
