Did you use a flash to light that or how did you manage to make the animal appear almost like a cutout?
Hi Frank, in NX2 I select the grey area of the neck and head with a control point and did some selective sharpening there.
Then I use a control point to select the green shrub behind the animal and toned down the brightness and contrast slightly. But my 300 AFI lens does give an almost 3D look to images.
I would not have a clue how to do that in PS.
