A father's joy
« on: October 31, 2016, 21:08:19 »
Taken a few years ago in Kensington, here in Toronto.
I was sitting outside a café when I noticed across the street, a young father amusing his infant child. I was taken by his obvious look of love and joy as he interacted with the baby, and using a long lens got this shot.
converted to black and white in photoshop
motorized Nikon F2AS
Tokina ATX 80~200 2.8 AIS manual focus
100 ISO colour slide
probably 2.8 @ 1/250th
I shoot with film. That's film. F...i...l...m. You remember film. It was in all the papers.

Funny how these situations auomatically make me smile...
I like the hand of the little one peeking out, the closeness of the father to the child, and the obvious energy he puts into his task!

Olivier,
Those were the elements that captivated me as well.
