Just wanted to introduce myself.
Pete Lucchini living in White Rock, NM Originally from Chicago but grew up in Florida.
I have been a Nikon junky since reading National Geographic magazines as a kid..
My first camera was an old Kodak Brownie and then a Canon FT SLR my sister let me use, I eventually bought a Yashica TL-Electro and a half dozen M-42 lenses.
After running that Yashica raged I went to my childhood dream brand Nikon, using mainly Nikon FE, FM2 and F3-HP, Mamiya 645.
Did some free lance work for The St. Petersburg Times as at the time late 80's early 90's they eagerly bought photos from street photographers.
I got to know a couple of the paper photographers and they would throw me a bone when they couldn't make the schedule.
I stepped away from shooting for some years to much ambulance chasing and death as that was the money maker photos if Fatalities where involved (sick I know)..
Got back into it in 1999 film but then sold all my film cameras I went to Digital some years later D100, D200 now D700.
I enjoy people and nature, motorcycle riding, camping, cooking and playing music and yes creating images. I drag my gear, Gitzo or mono pod on my Duel sport and look for subjects.
Hope I can contribute to this forum and learn many new tricks of the trade.
