Typical case of coloboma of the iris
Can be congenital or trauma driven. In this case, both eyes and symmetrical, looks like congenital
The child should be referenced to an ophthalmologist

Pedro it is congenital. The parents are well aware as the father has one affected eye as well.

Pedro = no need to apologize - the medical side is also close to my heart so I tend to be outspoken too

Her eyes are quite unusual and some find it disturbing. Besides medical concerns (which isnt the case here) my concern would be how cruel people might be to her because of her unusual eyes. Unfortunately that is a reality.

I used two long strip boxes (purely because I am too lazy to change softboxes in studio

oh its not the light that is so much not norm - its the bloody kid running around the studio and me following which means everything is upside.
I understand why some animals eat their young :)
but ya - I use strip boxes for most things if I can
