Last summer, I spent one week in Fuerteventura, one of the Canary Islands, known for his constant and strong winds, which made it a paradise for wind- and kitesurfers.

Splashing and smashing
Fantastic action images. They can easily end up as a cover of any magazine. Well done!

Thank you Aguinaldo, the 0665 is also one of my favorites.
All pictures were taken with a Nikon D4s ; Nikkor 300mm f/2.8 VR II; some with TC20-E III.; with AF 3D.

Very good colours, framing and all! First one is a nice tight crop and last one gives the whole scenery

Great action shots
This is the first time I realize they wear a harness to pull them up, I had believed they were incredibly good doing pull-ups

Wonderful photos, sharp, clear, colourful and with a great sense of the human drama of the action.

The life guard house is special!
I have it framed (by WhiteWall) in my living room (40x60cm). Some people asked me why the guard house is "looking" against the frame....

: thank you so much for the kind comments. I'm pleased that you enjoy.
Some more; all with 600mm i.e. Nikon 300mm f/2.8 + Nikkor TC20-E III

yes the life guard is special.
Seriously lovely images. Wish I could get that "close" (to the life guard and surfers that is)
