Nikkor book by Gaken Camera Mook
« on: October 19, 2016, 00:02:40 »
In my recent visit to Japan, I found this interesting book that seems to contain the history of many Nikkor lenses.
For a collector like me I find it important to have it along with my lenses.
It is published in high quality paper, but unfortunately I found it only in japanese.
If someone (Akira perhaps) know if there is an english version, please let me know.
Find attached photos of some pages.

So many old friends in the Nikkor family :D Actually I have shot almost all the illustrated Nikkors with a Nikon Df over the last years. Even each of the three depicted Fisheyes ...

I'm sure Akira will  be happy to help out with any translation.

i don't think these mooks come in english :o :o :o
these are sold at BOOK-OFF (a recycler) for $2-18 depending on condition.

i actually find these mooks exceptional but it also depends on the publisher. this publisher is one of the better ones specially with their "すべて" series

Aguinaldo, the book seems to be worth owing and cherishing.  Unfortunately the publisher doesn't offer any English version.  However, thanks to the accessibility of Internet and great folks like Roland Vink and others, there are very informative websites out there.  Maybe you can enjoy the illustrations in the magazine along with such websites.

This book is beautifully published and seems to have many interesting information and interviews.
It is a pity there is no english version.
