There is a place in the Santa Rita Hills, near Santa Barbara, (Pinot Noir country), called the Wine Ghetto. It is this small warehouse/industrial complex. The kind with an office space up front and a warehouse in the back. There are about 15 different vintners in the place. It is great, because you can just walk from taste-to-taste (or stagger, depending on your fortitude).

Are you telling me you had nothing to do with it and that those are selfies?

LOL ... she's unusually bright. (She figured out the doggie selfie stick in no time at all.)

The Cook leading the way to Silver Oak. (Yeah, I know it's blown out on her back, California sun and a blonde dog and I over exposed a tad to get the front of the building.)

No, my place is up front ... that's the dog's house in the back.

Cook would play this game of acting disinterested with the geese.

The geese would come ashore, then Cook would chase them into the water.

Disinterested ...

The Chase ...

The new dog on green series is much better edited. Love them.
You are out there. You and your camera. You can shoot or not shoot as you please. Discover the world, Your world. Show it to us. Or we might never see it.

What are these "Totems" --- Art or Plant?
"Dog & Cow" is super. So typical a behavior fur the little furry friends.
"Dog on green" needs a new edit. Shot full of artifacts.

I think the totems look like abalone shells.  Abalone are a marine gastropod quite popular for sport harvesting on the Pacific Coast of the US.  Dangerous...several divers die each year...tastes like fishy rubber to me, but poachers get rich on them.

Really enjoying your travel stories and images Gary, keep them coming  :)

Those images split in half by the clouds are just insane, never seen something like that before, is that a common phenomena in San Francisco?
Cheers,
Jan Anne

Quite common, an upwelling of very cold water outside the bay, a stiff wind and only one opening inland, channels the fog through the Golden Gate Bridge.  Samuel Clemens, (Mark Twain), stated that the "coldest winter he ever spent was a summer in San Francisco".
