Nice capture, Mike.  I wonder if they could hear the shutter sound and, if so, how they reacted.  :)

I was actually adjusting the eyepiece diopter.  If you look closely you can see my left index finger turning the control wheel on the side of the "pentaprism".  I was (and still am) very much in learning mode with the new Fuji X-T2 which I collected earlier that day.

LOL, Anthony, hope you will enjoy your new camera!  If it is set to the electronic shutter mode, the cops wouldn't notice even in such a proximity.  :D

How do you find the EVF in the T2 vs. the T1?
(I am in London until Thursday btw).

The EVF in the X-T2 gives a better image.  It also refreshes much faster, and 8fps in AFC is now viable for tracking moving objects without the feeling of playing catch-up.  I think this is going to be an effective action camera (but Fuji needs more long lenses).

Leicester Square, I guess, as I notice the Coat of Arms of the Swiss Cantons in the background ?

Agree with Anthony and have also noticed that the X-T2 does its stuff very much quicker. Fuji most definitely needs to give us a 200mm lens asap.

Not Leicester Square.

Mike, Fuji already offers a 100-400 zoom in addition to 55-200, although neither might be as fast as you would wish...

I am waiting for a fast 200mm lens; I haven't bought either of the lenses you mention, although in desperation I might end up buying the 55-200 as an interim solution.
What I would really like to have is a 200/2.

BTW very envious of Anthony's new X-T2. I will certainly get one in a few months and prices have slightly gone down.

It is just before you get to Leicester Square.

The 55-200 might be a good option for  your hiking, as it is not heavy.  Image quality is surprisingly good.  The excellent 50-140 is heavy, even before adding the 1.4 t/c to take it up to a real 200.
