Singer/dancer who asked for shoot with if possible a picture for her upcoming EP in mind

Obviously I'm the wrong choice as I prefer my models/subject to run/move around a lot, and
admittedly am not exactly an expert, nor very careful, with post processing

So we ended up on the beach, around 7.00 pm with the sun setting at around 8.00 pm
Beautiful light, although by the end of the shoot quite dim

But with my D800 and 1..4/58mm I was able to continue even when the sun was 'sinking' into the sea,
something I wouldn't have dreamt (dreamed? not a native English speaker  :( ) of doing back in the film shooting days

Anyway, amid all the madness and jumping around I also got these two

(sorry, tried adding the pictures, but didn't succeed)

Admin's edit: Use the IMG tags ('insert image'), second row of icons to the left, and insert the URL there. We will not do this every time until you learn to do it yourself, just this first time  :D

If direct linking won't work, use the attachment function. You then have to download the images to your own computer and attach from there.

Sorry you cant show the images directly there is an explanation on the forum.
The 58/1.4g is a fine lens on any Nikon camera

Paul,

Seem it was a very nice session with this dancer

The light is so even, there almost no shadows on her face on any of the shots, I had a look around your web page and you do use shadows in most of your other sessions, her features are very attractive and i'm curious how she would look with shadows, I think her feature would be highlighted very nicely

The reason there is no Shadows is because Paul is cleverly using his D800 on Cloudy -1 for color and Cloudy -2/3 for most B/W
Paul is also alternating between two lenses in this series: 58G and the 135D.

My guess is Paul is an old handle using film and hence the Cloudy -1 or 2/3 mode  ;D
