Athens, Greece
« on: August 31, 2016, 01:49:12 »

July, 2016, Athens, Greece, 50mm f/1.4G, D800

Most of these were taken with a "nifty 50".  The remainder were with a 24-120 f/4 VR.  Those were the ones near the Acropolis.

This is a large gallery, 30 images, a few may have been posted here previously:

Nice work Ron. Correct me if I am wrong; most of the pictures were shot in Ermou st. the shopping centre of Athens (Hermes was god of commerce), some in Constitution square (Sintagma), some on the Acropolis and the area below it (theatre, temple at Thission), a couple
on some streets near Sintagma, which I recognize but I dont remember the names, and the museum in the area of "agora". I am sure that you have visited the old city, Plaka, and probably
the section "Anafiotika", which looks like a Greek island with very narrow streets.
Thanks for sharing your photos.

Thank you everyone.

Elsid, you are correct on locations.  My hotel was on Ermou St. fairly close to Sintagma.  I did get to Mykonos and Santorini.
