Black forest

Not THE Black Forest, but a dark corner of woods, near Killin, which I visit quite often.

Very nice Dave.

However, if you say "dark forest", you've either exposed or processed on the light side. IMHO of course.

Hans - I think perhaps I used the word "dark" to mean the mood of the place, as much as the tonality of the image.
