Barbed Wire. Original Edit + Edit Attempt No5
« on: June 05, 2016, 14:42:41 »
Hi
I have got a little engrossed in my Resize/Downsample upload, where I felt my process offered a image of poor IQ. This was a viewpoint that was agreed by a few of the viewers
    and expressed in their comments.
I have spent some of my time researching how to best resize a image for the web, and have used CS6.
The attachments are the  Original Upload from CS6,    Image - Image Resize - NG guideline Image size, 1200 width. Save for Web.
Edit No5 _                                          As Above       _   1900 width, JPEG Maximum, Quality 100, Smooth Gradient. Save for Web, I chose Bi linear.
I went through all options and viewed the previews on each option in full screen.
Please take note, I am a novice at resizing images for web view, I am just making the information available, as to how I believe I produced a better image IQ for a Web Upload.
I still have to create a file that fits with NG Guidelines, even though Edit No5 is close

John, much better! I like the brighter edit of the new version as well and I'm happy to see that you got rid of that little dark speck (fly?) as it really bothered my OCD.

There is a two part discussion on the topic of downsizing a few threads down in this forum, fyi.

The new one looks nicer when enlarged.  I'll stick with my preference for the processing of the first, however.

I prefer the processing on the last edit for sure. It just works so real, colorful. The way I see things in real life. I would almost say it jumps at you

Hi
    Thank you for your comments,
I enjoyed this image for the subject isolation / image pop. That was the reason why I put it up.
I'm pleased the 5th attempt at resizing allowed the IQ to reveal this .
