while the fish is drying...

Why not practice your drive?

Taken at night in Hiratsuka, Japan where I spent the week. The man is a restaurant owner and was preparing his specialty for the day after. We had a chat after I took the shot.
I only had my IR camera with me, so here it goes...

That is one strange combination of things, interesting.

The situation is indeed weird.  But golf is actually a fairly popular hobby in Japan, and there is no wonder the restaurant owner wanted to practice.

In any case, Olivier, your sense of composition shines here: the triangular placements of the owner dressed in white and the half-dried fish rendered in white, and the white lines on the asphalt.

Ron, Akira, thank you.

Akira, one day, when I come to Japan, I will find the time to pay you a beer... I just have to warn my local colleagues 3 months in advance so they don't plan outings every single evening!
