Hello From Southeastern British Columbia
« on: May 27, 2016, 16:53:10 »
Just found this forum a few weeks ago. Where have you been all my life? :)  Good to see such an international roster.
First camera was an Asahi Pentax Spotmatic in about 1970.  Cost me a month's wages way back then.  One of my better investments as it led me to a career as a cinematographer.
Other hardware includes an Epson 9800 which loves ink as much as I love milkshakes.
Just turned 70, shooting a D800 for the last four years or so and watching Nikon' next moves carefully.

My first attempt at an online presence is at

A Candian. Not many here yet but all the more welcome.

Will you show us the landscapes and cityscapes of your area?
The people the architecture the life style?

Bursting of curiosity. Yours. Frank

Dark, shiny wood is one of the most difficult things I've ever photographed.  Thanks for appreciating!

I can't imagine shooting pipe organs.  Must be a huge lighting job.  Love listening to them, though.  Not many here in the Great White North.

Warmest welcome I've ever received on the Internet.  Thanks all! I will definitely be hanging out here.
I can't shoot pipe organs, but I do have forests and rivers to offer.  British Columbia is a landscape photographer's heaven.

Really nice work, Peter. Your digital paintings of tulips would feel at home with those of Jakov and others.

Welcome here.

Welcome from a coastal northwesterner.  You live in a very beautiful part of the world, hope to see more of it here in future.  I looked through your website - many, many outstanding photos! I especially like the dark landscapes and the colourful ice photos.
