San Francisco Through Lenses

Nikkor 50mm f/1.2 Ai-s @f/5.6 + 5T looking through Nikkor 105mm f/1.8 Ai-s @ f/1.8

Decided to try Capture NX for a while and am liking it.  I find myself ending up with less conservative looks than what I usually did with ACR.

A nice twist on a well-known scene. Kudos.

As to NX-D, I am currently using it because of D500 not having support in PhotoNinja. Per Nikon software tradition, NX D is glacially slow and eats memory.

On my 16core with 64GB RAM and fast SSDs the program runs much faster than Photo Ninja
and the results are much better than that of ACR and PN which officially lists D500 as supported
but the results speak another language.

concerning the opening post. I like the idea of a round frame

More discussion on NX D requires a dedicated thread under 'Processing'.

Let this thread focus (sic) on the image ...
