Fons, your first picture is fascinating. What was the lens and the settings?

lovely blue irises, Elsid
my image is a composite from two exposures
one from the 135/2dc
the other from the cv 125/2.5

Strong impact, an image to enjoy that becomes a puzzle to solve. I have spend quite some time looking at it

I was trying out various combinations of focusing technique today in the garden. D800E, ZF2 100mm/f2 at 5.6, 1/15, 100 ISO, Live view focusing. Images 1352 and 1353 are vertical crops from a horizontal frame. Comments and critique please. Thanks.
