When I visited Oban many years ago, I was amused to see protective clothing on sale for tourists that included a wide-brimmed hat and mesh to stop midges biting your face. The rest of the outfit was much like a bee-keepers suit.

I was up for a whacky edit and found another shot of our Tomasi Tour to Train, Loch, Mercury, Church, Beaches...

Did anyone miss anything in this meal?

I can guarantee that in this meal there was no GLUTEN, no WHEAT and no DAIRY PRODUCTS.

And: There are millions of other allergen free recipies and most of them are not frugal and very tasty

Here again the image by Thomas Stellwag:

Günther, you got a better foto of that arched bridge than I did !! I was trying to shoot in in IR, but it didn't work out too well.

BTW, just crop the bottom third out of this foto!! <laughing>

On reflection, I think the happiest moments for me have been on the beach in Morar.
That was an absolutely unique, precious afternoon.
Pure bliss.

David used his local knowledge and contacts to get us to Glen Etive just as the late afternoon sun broke through the clouds.  We had a very rewarding time there.
