Hi Aleksandra, welcome on this forum.
I especially like the Kelpie with the steam coming out of his/its nose. :)

The last evening we went to Glencoe valley (I think).
This tree caught the last sunstroke.

While we were in Crief to buy ingredients we tried to find some pipe organs there. Pity the churches were closed. Then I found a burning bush in front of this church (all done in camera).

Finally, after a series of technological (and nervous  :)) breakdowns, I am able to join you! First of all, I would like to thank Dave and his lovely wife for welcoming us and for organising such an amazing event. A big thank you goes to all the participants - you are such a wonderful bunch of people and it was my pleasure to be with you all and learn what good photography is. Last, but certainly not least, a big thanks goes to my dear friend Jakov for inviting me one more time to join this community.

Thank you, Aleksandra, for being so kind (and I'm sorry for mis-spelling your name earlier). I so much enjoyed meeting you and Jakov and all the other participants that there is no need for thanks; Mayumi and I enjoyed every moment. As you say, the group was made up of marvellous individuals - there was no rivalry, no jealousy, no bad temper, no rudeness, no selfishness (or, at least, none that I was aware of  ::) ) - it's a kind of miracle.

It was wonderful for me to meet old friends from Lofoten and before, and to make new friends. As I said at Frank's dinner-party, these get-togethers are about photography and making good images - of course - but what they are really about is friendship. I feel that I have made new friendships that will last the rest of my life; even if we rarely meet, or never, we will remain friends.

My deep thanks to everyone who came to Scotland 2016. You gave me memories that I will often return to.

"Scotch Castle at 90 mph"

Simato wanted not to be where perspective and light were best but where he had preorganized to be. So I had to take my shot at speed, through a car window zooming through the landscape.

Tomasi Tours required us to take a certain train at some point. We did so in eager compliance:

Nice shot, but you are very harsh with me.
I just wanted to be where our very informed host suggested we should go and time was running out.
Next time you are free to make your own arrangements and drive a car by yourself  ;)
The same goes for the train. If anything you should be glad because it forced us to be out on location by a certain time, which prevented us from wasting time.
