Birding & Chatting along the Road
Some birders stopped where we were shooting and we all had a chat.
Sony a7R Full Spectrum with B410 Filter (which is mostly IR).

As mentioned weather changes quickly with rain alternating with sun every few minutes or so, this comes with some amazing opportunities like an in camera 2EV overexposed backlit shimmery wet road posted in the opening post or this rainbow mountain shot in pretty much the same place.

Today the weather is overcast so theres less interesting light to play with, we coped by doing a lens chipping day  :)

In order to check all the mandatory boxes of used image styles; this psychedelic image checks the maximum pushing of the contrast, saturation, etc  ;D  :o

Rainy and wet weather certainly improves colour saturation, as convincingly demonstrated by Jan Anne's vibrant image.

D750 + Nikkor 24-70/2.8GThe Achmore Stone Circle was not discovered until 1981 when a crofter (farmer) was cutting peat and began to dig up big stones. This circle has not been restored. The site is up on a hill with long views of the surrounding countryside.
