The Olive Tree
« on: April 08, 2016, 15:07:16 »
This morning I revisited my olive tree with a D300 and Zenit 85/1.5.
I am certain I posted a similar one somewhere before...

I like your vision, Jakov
For some reason I see this working in a series or as a tryptic or some such.

This kind of the abstraction game would be a fun indulgence.  The selection of the resulted images should be another challenge.  The initial image looks promising.  :)

If I can say frankly, I don't find this photo that much intriguing. May be because of too much white space, may be because of thick black borders. Or may be it is just me.

I like this alternate version lot more, that you posted earlier.  :)

I think the black borders makes me prefer the version Anirban linked.

I think it is a great way to create abstraction in color photography. Thinking of this pic, I took and mixed this for you

I am not sure one can see that it's an olive tree, I might have exaggerated a bit on the blurriness :)
