Heading north . . . .
« on: April 05, 2016, 18:40:52 »
. . . . probably to their summer home in northern Canada. This group had only just taken off from Loch Tay and hadn't got into formation yet, and they were all cackling loudly to reinforce their bonding and to agree on a course. At this point they were heading west but before I lost them from sight, they were already veering northwards.

This image has a bit more pp than is usual for me - heavy crop, big changes in tonal values and saturation, some emphasis of the waterline, and the removal of a goose whose wing/body position made it look totally unlike a bird.

It came out refreshingly great.

This is a pleasant image and doesn't look artificial at all.

Mongo agrees with the others. Whatever you did to this David, it looks great. It all comes together very well and has a lovely and  idyllic restful feel about it.

The only CC Mongo might offer is to possibly to lighten up the darker foreground ever so slightly near the tall tree. Mongo tried this in an edit and found it gave the image a subtle third Layer of depth

Thank you all for your kind comments.

Mongo - thanks - I'll try that later today. Right now I'm off to sell my car to the man.
