Thank you Elsa, merci Jacques...
Jacques, I am sure you have an old Nikon DSLR laying around, unused, begging for a second life! Some are really easy to convert. It is worth a thought, for sure...

beautifully composed and processed. It has a strong but "dreamy" feel. Very nice work.

Thank you Mongo.
The dreamy feel was enhenced in Nik Silver Efex: I like the "soft contrast" slider, in both directions actually. It is difficult for me to find the right balance sometimes...

Ah... The trouble is that my three children (big now) are recycling my old DSLRs ! I now only have the D3x and the Df... So I'll wait a bit more for a conversion.... :-)

A used V1 goes for 200€ now!

I cannot add to what the others have already said, except to say that I have come back to view the Three Giants several times now.  I do hope that you print this one large and hang it in your home.

BTW, what lens did you use on the V1?

Hi Hugh,

thank you! I may print it indeed, or reshoot with a slightly different idea that has come to my mind... It will be hard to find a place for this in my home though.
I used the kit zoom (10-30mm) at 10mm f/10 if I am not mistaken. This is a panoramic picture made of 6 shots, the camera was in vertical position.

As often, this was shot in the gardens of the "Chateau de Méry", near my house.
V1IR, 6 shots pano.

Love the colors and the reflection. Beautiful shot my friend.

Indeed, a very nice shot. For me, the one of ten pictures a year.
