Instant in time lens shade patented
« on: April 01, 2016, 10:42:11 »
the chinese manufacturer genriceoptics has filed a patent about a short term biodegradable sun shade, only working while pictures are taken.
This will help to avoid forgetting the use of the shade and getting  flares into images.
The working principle is easy. On the camera in the motordrive accu chamber is only one accu mounted and in the 2nd chamber is a tank for dried octopus colour, set under pressure. During the focussing time, it sprays fine black bio dust around the lens front end that protects against sun and other disturbing lights during the opening time of the shutter. They claim it is not the best solution for doing near protraits or macros.
Animal rights activists claim, that this will increase the volume of catches octopusses significantly if it becomes standard in smart phone optics
A sister company of genriceoptics is rumourd to prepare a similiar solution with pepper spray to secure the photograper against attacs after doing street photography

I expect strong oppositions from the B&W plugin developers rather than the animal rights activists.

Also, I would fear this whole thread would be removed by the moderators!!!   :o :o :o

My pet bull has just gone on strike - he tells me that he has been so heavily over producing such high volumes of BS since midnight last night that he has become dangerously dehydrated.  Poor chap.   :o :o :o
