Wonderful. It's so good it must be a studio shot - elaborate set, back projection screen, stuffed birds - but it's still wonderful.   ;) ;) ;D

Cheers everyone ! Thanks for the comments

I had the 20mm lens, held the camera at near ground level AF-C auto area  shot without looking through the viewfinder (wish I had a tiltable screen) and hope for a few good images,  I was as close as I could while checking if the birds steel felt "comfortable", they get quite anxious since I have to crouch down fairly close to them , while I pretended to look away - not directly to the birds -  they did not like the shutter noise and started complaining loudly after a couple of shots

Mongo loves this Armando. The very early or very late light also gives this added character.

I echo all the others above, simply a wonderful capture in all regards.

I remember thinking that I wouldn't have use for the tilt screen on my D750 and initially regarded it as a liability.  Boy was I wrong!  Now I wish it tilted side as well.

Your lack of a tilt screen did not prohibit you from getting a great composition here though!  Surprised they let you get so close, being shot at 20mm.  I'm guessing they aren't particularly skittish birds?

That's awesome! To me, it looks almost like a screengrab from a Pixar movie.

Very special lighting. Is that copper colored?

Super high definition birds. How did you manage to get so close to them?

What colors and definition. Wow.
