I like the composition and I also like the editing tips provided in the thread, it's part of what makes this forum so great.

Man!  I have to learn the curves tool.  I've never used that ... or created a layer.  Time to hit Lynda.com, I guess.

I like the pleasant warm tone of these B&W pictures.

As I am not an expert in PP, I wonder whether this rendition comes from intrinsic quality of the lens or from post-processing.
