Very stylish and clean. Just thinking about what this scene might look like if done in landscape instead of portrait orientation? As now, the foreground looms large without much content to it.

Thanks for your response, Bjørn.
When I "saw" this, I saw it vertical. Did actually just take one shot. I thougt about crop top/bottom in pp, but like the space. Here is another from the same place. But this is with my D200ir with a 665-filter. The first is with Bjørn J's D2Xir (720-filter).

Ah, the famous Skagsanden beach. I like this one a lot, but I think a bit more contrast for a slightly more dramatic look would suit this photo.

Knut, I viewed the first one on my mobile last night but could not reply.  The "Black"   and "White" really caught my attention.  I like the composition.  The rock drew my attention first then the light/reflections leading to the  mountain.  Maybe the other way around for others.  I really like it but the second image is just so far outside what I do and is visually a stunning, high visual impact image for me.
Many thanks for sharing both.

Knut, I really like the yin-yang like contrast of the first image.

Fantastic images! I like the editing in the second one as is, yes you could do a more contrasty version but you would alter the whole feeling and atmosphere,,,,
Very nice clean looking files.

Wow! I'm especially taken by the second shot, the sky and beach works really well together.

Jørgen & Erik, thank you. I think Erik has a point. I think it is a tendency towards exaggeration in editing. Like photography is a competition. More colour, more flashy images. It's all about making an impact. (500px..) I don't like that. I tend to like the more natural style. That is one of the reasons I like NG. Quality pictures as a result of good ideas, composition and technique.
