"Back with a vengeance"
« on: March 06, 2016, 16:29:53 »
Dear Nikon-geared fellows!

I'm a fairly long time member here. A few of you might remember me from discussions. So far my interests here were purely technical, so not a single photo from me was available. However time has come and I have launched my online presence with my best photographs. Initially at www.facebook.com/eternipix.

For a tasty starter, please see this red moonrise over Budapest :) Please view, enjoy, share!

Hi, László, your handle is familiar to me.  Nice to have you here!  Your posted image is strong enough as a vengeance.  :)

Thank you Jan, thank you Akira for your kind comments!

You must have good memory Akira - yes, my handle is still the old one, just to preserve some continuity :)

Cheers,

Welcome, I am a neophyte here, but I love seeing the work of the old masters.

Thank you again for the kind comments!

Erik @ yes, the detail is mesmerizing, but I would rather not post the almost full size photo. This is my signature image after all. This forum is very public. However if you are interested in technical details I'm glad to help ;)

Jørgen @ thank you! This is very flattering. I hope I'll be able to keep up the quality! :)

Gary @ thank you for the compliment. However, actually I'm rather young and a hobbyist here - so not earned the title "old masters" at all. By the way, I checked out your photographs - it is you, who are an old master! Your images remind me of the classical era where one had to carefully compose and expose the image. Bresson-like quality.

Just for you, here is one of my favorite street photograph from Budapest titled "Fragile".
