Akira, you are so right - the ability to arrange one's subject in a still life  is something that we have (well I have) always taken for granted, but if it is not right, then there is nothing that good technique can do to rescue the image.

Michael's arrangements and techniques are indeed excellent as is this sublime image and the many others that have preceded it.

Great arrangement of the flower in the first place.  The impeccable shooting technique needless to say.

Lovely for sure!

But about 1 stop too dark IMHO the whole exposure. Depending of the intended goal I would recommend to lift some parts at least to make it shine.

Even lifting the JPG 1 stop made it shine,,,
