Not into any admiration of American cars myself, most are downright ugly in my humble opinion. However, this capture with its exquisite colour composition and clever use of the positioning of image elements made me smile a little regretfully. Well done.

To quote Frank ... This is wonderful. This need to be printed ... large ... really large.

The design of American cars in the Tail Fin Era was bizarre, but you have captured what is probably the signature feature of this particular model very well.

Thank you Elsa, Bjorn, Frank, Gary, Armando and Pluton for your kind comments.

The tail-fin era of American cars is legendary and some models sported outrageously large fins.  To me, the 1959 Cadillac Coupe is certainly one of the better known examples.

The color and style of the fin jumped out at me as I walked by and this is my favorite image from that car show.  The car's owner was most generous and happy to share anything and everything about the car making the experience more memorable to me.
