CP+2016 thread

CP+ (Camera & Photo Imaging Show) 2016 is being held beteen 25th and 28th of this month in Yokohama.  My assignments during the weekend doesn't allow me to go there, and I'm keen on the reports on Impress-Watch web magazine.

Among the reports, I found some very bizarre offerings shown: translucent mount adapters to induce flare!

According to the adapters, you can use EF- or PL-mount lenses on Sony E or m4/3 bodies.  No adapters have the electric contacts, so the EF lenses stay wide open, which may be of no problem, because the flare could be most effective when the lens is wide open.

no! my Japanese is bad! my friends taught me bad Japanese words that i cannot use everyday. 

Yes! this PK version is a bit hard to find but i finally got one! helicoid is dry but i can fix that. one good thing is that i have talked to the Japan Hobby Tools boss! he said that he can sell me grease, lens openers (カニ目レンチ) and other things for discounted price! as well as sell me screws in small volume!

there are many other things in CP+ but i am not interested. such as gimmick gadgets for mirrorless.

because of the junk bazaar, i will go there every year from now on

Rick, it is important to know bad words, because you can avoid using it without knowing they are bad (seriously).

You should be just the type of guy whom the boss of a company like Japan Hobby Tools would cherish.

Any particular focal length in particular?
(I've just compared the 35/1.8VC to the Nikkor 35/1.8G FX and the only drawback for the Tammy is onion rings and price).

i was impressed by both the 85mm and the 90mm 
the 85mm was pretty good but the 90mm is on another level

i am going to post a 1:1 crop when i have the time. for some reasons, the saturation of the nikon equivalent is quite low (for my expectations) but the Tamron's saturation is just about right 
when i get home later and my head is not aching (hayfever) i will upload some 1:1 crops from both lenses. unfortunately, I used a D4 so resolution is a bit low

i am actually thinking of putting an online shopping app on my site for tools and most specially screws. i have been getting a lot of inquiries for replacement screws from my readers! i am getting my screws from tokyu hands and nishikawa. Japan Hobby Tools also is thinking of collaborating with me.

one funny thing is that yongnuo is there as well selling their cheap knock offs of nikon and canon lenses and gears hahaha phottix and yongnuo has been doing that for some time already. sometimes i wonder how thick you can be to have the guts to do that hahaha

Sigma's booth is pretty big by the way.

i also went to Cosina's booth to try voigtlanders.
