Thank you, Akira. It is to my regret that I didn't "underexpose" enough to squelch the extreme white in the brightest part of the cloud.

I see.  Indeed, retaining the highlight of the clouds in such a contrasty situation is really tricky.  Nevertheless, the resulted effect looks interesting.
