Beautiful EIR-esque rendition.  Which IR filter does your D200 use?

It has a common 720nm filter. I bought it here in NG already converted with the lens and af adjusted, very easy and fun to use.

Thank you, Paco, for the details.  I've never had a dedicated IR camera, but the one with IR720 seems to be tempting.

Well, it was taken at 4:43 AM according to EXIF.  So, I had to act silently.   8)

With patience and luck I've found that D200 (here) and in ebay a d5300 ir 720nm barely used for 219€

Your patience and money were very well paid off.

iPhone is handy.  Pano with 2nd Gen iPhone SE (trimmed in Adobe CC).

Good cloud shot.  I would like to see a large sensor 'pano-cam' that shoots rotating panos as easily as an iPhone, but with a good raw file delivered w/o the baked in processing that the iPhone seems stuck on.

Thank you, Keith!  So far as I'm aware, Sony still offers the "sweep panorama" mode on their APS-C models without IBIS.  Also, some Olympus and Panasonic bodies (generally lower grade models) have panorama mode.

A Noblex-, Widelux- or Horizon-style digital camera would be hopelessly expensive because of the cost of the specialized curved sensor.  I'm pretty much satisfied with the stitching pano using the almost error-free photomerge in Adobe CC.
