This can be posted to several of the alternative themes, but I opted for the traditional self-portrait genre nonetheless.
Just checking how the early 00's Voigtländer 50mm f/1.5 (Nikkor S mount) handles IR. Apparently it can be used at full bore setting, which isn't very surprising. More surprising though, it avoids displaying a pesky hot spot in IR even fully stopped down to f/16!! No other 50mm lens tested on the IR-modified GF1 so far has achieved this, not even the otherwise excellent Nikkor-S 5cm f/1.4 which is a work horse on my monochrome Sony NEX-5N for IR.
