Selfie in the style of "Photographer in Action" of shooting the remnants of cherry blossoms.

I like it, so many things to see in this frame Akira
(in addition to the Bass-cut hair ;) )

Thank you, Colin.  Indeed, the bicycle rider was an added bonus.   :)

Early morning bus ride. Is there a functional battery in the old D5300? (yes)

Akira, I got instant flash backs to this post  ;D

I hope you enjoyed the remnants of the cherry blossoms - probably all gone soon. The local cherry trees just started blooming where I live.

LOL!  My hair style hasn't changed since.   ;D

Hope you enjoy your cherry blossoms!

This can be posted to several of the alternative themes, but I opted for the traditional self-portrait genre nonetheless.

Just checking how the early 00's Voigtländer 50mm f/1.5 (Nikkor S mount) handles IR. Apparently it can be used at full bore setting, which isn't very surprising. More surprising though, it avoids displaying a pesky hot spot in IR even fully stopped down to f/16!! No other 50mm lens tested on the IR-modified GF1 so far has achieved this, not even the otherwise excellent Nikkor-S 5cm f/1.4 which is a work horse on my monochrome Sony NEX-5N for IR.

My surprise is evident in the image below.

Get well soon, Hans!

You didn't have to do something so extreme to avoid the competition  :o ;)

Thank you all  :)

They were returning me to factory default settings to stabilise my frame rate...so it was more distraction than drama.  ;D ;D

Hans obviously retains his sense of humour despite the "factory reset"?

I do hope that you soon get well again!

You should also make sure the shutter count was reset to zero.
