Key West - Dry Tortugas
« on: February 04, 2016, 16:34:13 »
I've been to Key West, Florida, only once.  Heading back next week.  Last time I took only the Fuji gear, to pack light.  Just looking at shots from our walk around Ft. Jefferson, and thinking of what I'd like to try to get this time.

Great photo! You must have a really good camera.

That's a beautiful shot, Tom. Very calm, serene scene. I like the colour contrast and wonderful framing.

Fantastic contrast of the intense blue of the caribbean waters vs the brick of the fort

I went to Key West in 1999, and spent there only a few hours,  3 of us drove from Raleigh N.C to South Miami beach, and took one of the days to go to Key West, since we decided to do this on thanks giving weekend all driving was absolute madness

Armando, we drove from Ft. Lauderdale to Key West last time.  Never again!  It's 4+ hours to drive from Ft. Lauderdale, and it's a boring and slow drive. Flying to Key West this time.
Great photo! You must have a really good camera.

That fort just lends itself to photos.

Great photo! You must have a really good camera.

Is this water good for swimming? Looks very inviting! Great color contrast

Yes, the water is great for swimming.  Very clear. Many people snorkel there.
Great photo! You must have a really good camera.
