Decisive Moment at Museum
« on: February 01, 2016, 02:28:02 »
We were at the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame, where a video was being projected onto the wall.  This three-year old red head walked up the wall, and he stood there, looking, for about 15 seconds.  I yanked the iPhone out of my pocket and grabbed one shot.

Not spectacular technique, and it's not a great camera and lens, but I just like the way it turned out.  For me, it's a special moment in time.

Great photo! You must have a really good camera.

Nice shot.  I would have cropped the bottom to cut off the black, but small beans.

Ahh Coach Nick Saban before he ditched LSU and sneaked over to Bama.  Still a sore spot for LSU fans.  Great shot.  One of the times the phone camera excels.  Nice to have that camera with you all the time.

Bama - Alabama University

Lowell, just one correction.  BAMA = The Evil Empire.  ;)

Amazing that the video was at that exact place when the young man folded his hands behind his back and looked up.

iPhone.  The new Leica.  Because you have it with you.

Tom,

I still fondly remember, when Utah dismantled the Crimson Tide in the 2009 Sugar Bowl.

I inherited a "hand-me-down" iPhone 6 plus from my son.  The plus was too big for him.  The camera is pretty good.  Its essentially a 8 mega pixel, 8 bit camera with a 35 mm lens and image stabilization.  Its in my shirt pocket all the time.  I can get it out and take a picture in about 5 seconds.
