Yes, this one specifically forest spirits from the "Princess Mononoke" movie. I think they are based or at least inspired by some Japanese legends?

I see.  Many of the animes by Hayao Miyazaki are based on Japanese legends of Buddhism, Shintoism or animism.  That said, I think that the existence of forest spirits are believed in many parts of the world including  Europe.

John, it seems WonenBreBurg is inspired by "De Stijl".

It's been a few minutes in this thread.

I was trying out some new (to me) film, Metropolis 100-400 by Lomography, and decided to go shoot some things in a nearby city (Eindhoven, if you're curious). This one from an old Philips manufacturing building in the center of the city, called "De Admirant". Shot on the 6x17, 75mm, F/22, 1/4s (and yes, this is the film's colour palette).

Fascinating window in the way its pieces are organised - if only the bottom 2/3rds of your image is looked at, it could look like a corner window.

Well seen Akira.

Thank you, Hugh.  Indeed the part of the window you mention shows some 3D effect.
