Opening exposition of Roni Horn in the Museum of Modern Art: De Pont.  One of the works is 'Portrait of an Image'.

From the website: "Portrait of an Image (with Isabelle Huppert) (2005) comprises a hundred photographs of this French actress as she re-portrays her roles played in film. The differences in the expression of her scarcely made-up, ‘naked’ face are subtle, yet the variations seem to be endless. "     http://www.depont.nl/en/exhibitions/program/release/pers/roni-horn-2/

Interesting one, Fons.
Grey day, no light. We went for a walk but I took out the 105/1.8 anyway.

@ Thomas G- Love the symmetry and the loneliness you captured in your photo.
Thanks, Gary. Seldom I get the symmetry of these 'down the road' photos really right.
The car GPS preferred these smaller country roads on this trip and I have to say that I admired them.
I hoped to catch that feeling right in the late afternoon light.

The weather is... well, it is January and this day is just as November as one can imagine. It's drizzling. It's gray.
We took a short walk none the less and returned with a few takes.

Same weather here, Thomas   ;)

The tower of Interpolis Insurance covered in low hanging clouds, with a view of the 'Koepelhal', were large locomotives were repaired in the past.

Yes, John, your picture does transfer the matching mood. Nice cloud-disappering and you kept the grey light ambience well in PP (I'm sometimes tempted to override it).

Grey day again but the dandelions, which are there for a few days already, do light up a tiny corner of the road. Lumia 930 jpg

January 24, 2016. The weather is chaning - no more frost for now and thaw and fog is taking over. Annoying - I like winters with frost, ice and snow..

I like the country road as you took it too. I feel these roard in Germany are a kind of rational stream through what one could consider wilderness, but it is of course not. As a traveling salesman you are on this conveyor belt getting somewhere getting nowhere...
